Shifter

The Shifter is a sneaker-style shoe designed specifically for motorcycling. This sporty sneaker has all the important features that a modern motorcycle shoe must have. The high functionality and the corresponding protection under extreme loads are due to the combination of genuine cowhide and an additional XTM-Fiber ® membrane (fiber technology made of Aramid fiber / Coolmax® and Lycra®). For example, the shifter from John Doe offers additional abrasion protection compared to an ordinary motorcycle leather shoe. Another feature is the John Doe Threepoint Protection, which means additional reinforcement on the ankle, heel and forefoot. A „shift protection” made of leather provides the appropriate protection of the shoe and grip when switching on the motorcycle.

Each of our motorcycle shoes also has a „water-stop function“ (known from Trekking & walking shoes) i.e. the shoe pocket is made in such a way that a rapid penetration of water in the lacing area of the shoe is not possible. For additional comfort, the driver can use an easy entry“ in the inner side of the shoe, pull this shoe on/off quickly and easily by means of a zip, without having to open the lacing. An oil-resistant, vibration-absorbing and non-slip sole is also standard in our John Doe motorcycle shoes. Details such as a leather embossed John Doe logo on the ankle guard or the JDM metal logo on the entry tab round out the classic design of our sneaker „Shifters“ from.
