The Smart Jacket LS is a ventilated motorbike jacket that combines the versatility of a lightweight, ventilated garment with the intelligence and maximum protection of the Dainese D-air® airbag system. The Smart Jacket LS requires no connection to the motorbike, can be used as a normal ventilated jacket without having to combine other garments and requires no subscription. Made of certified abrasion-resistant and ventilated fabric, it is also suitable for particularly hot days and ensures excellent breathability. The Dainese D-air® system, used in MotoGP and developed over 25 years of research, monitors what is happening around the motorcyclist 1,000 times per second thanks to its 7 sensors. Without the need for cables or connections, it independently detects dangerous situations and immediately activates the Shield, a high-tech airbag made of microfilaments that provides maximum protection to the chest and back. The system is activated and protects in the event of a skid, highsider, impact with an obstacle or another vehicle, as well as rear-end collisions, even when stationary. The Dainese D-air® system of the Smart Jacket LS provides protection equivalent to rigid level 1 back protectors at the covered points, without the need to use a rigid back protector. The Smart Jacket LS has removable Pro-Armor protectors (Level 2, Type B) at the elbows and shoulders. Pro-Armor technology offers the highest level of limb protection, coupled with high freedom of movement and exceptional ventilation, thanks to the soft structure inspired by natural fractals and the ventilated surface that covers 40% of the protector area. Equipped with 2 side zipped pockets, it's easy to tuck in your essential personal items to keep them close at hand.
