Almost every component of the Supertech R Boot, Alpinestar's definitive racing boot as worn by a number of champions past and present, has undergone a rigorous programme of upgrades to further sharpen its performance characteristics. Key elements include a redesigned front flex area, a redesigned rear gaiter, a redesigned upper gaiter area, a new slider and shin plate, a new shin slider and a new inner bootie, all of which take the comfort, protection and performance of this boot to new, class-leading levels.

• Newly designed rear gaiter in stretch microfiber for improved natural front and rear movement.
• Newly designed upper gaiter in microfiber material with TPU over injection for improved ease of movement.
• Velcro closure ensures puller zip stays in place.
• Micro-adjustable ratchet closure on top of boot for optimised fit.
• Sole made from a lightweight rubber compound for excellent grip on the poles.
• Separate, internally updated bio-mechanical inner bootie made from 3D mesh material for greater structure, thus enhancing rider comfort.

PROTECTION

• Replaceable, co-injected TPU/aluminium toe slider with a simple screw system that protects the toe area from abrasion.
• New replaceable heel plate slider design provides increased glide performance and protection in the event of a fall.
• The inner bootie features a new outer toe area with soft TPU reinforcement for better impact protection and additional ankle padding for increased protection, stability and cushioning during the natural movement of the foot.

• New TPU sliders for increased protection on the lower medial side.
• - New TPU shin plate has been redesigned for greater impact absorption performance, improving abrasion resistance in a key area.
• New replaceable shin slider for added abrasion resistance.
• New TPU stretch panel design with zip for easier entry and exit and a tighter, more streamlined fit.
• Microfiber main upper for optimal abrasion resistance while maintaining flexibility.
• New front flex area for improved abrasion resistance while maintaining natural front and back.
• New front flex area increases ventilation and airflow for added breathability.
